Privacy statement
Last updated 14 October 2026
This is a courtesy translation. The Dutch version of this privacy statement is the binding one; where the two differ, the Dutch text applies.
Short version: this site sets no tracking cookies, uses no advertising networks and does not sell your data on. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes technical logs including your IP address to deliver the pages. I only keep what you send me through the form.
Who is responsible
Bram De Craeke, as a private individual, Jabbeke. nxthome is not a registered business yet: for now this site is a portfolio. Once that changes, the company details will appear here. Contact at hallo@nxthome.online.
What is collected
If you fill in the contact form
Your name, your e-mail address and your message — the form asks for nothing more. I use those details to answer your question, and for nothing else. The message is sent through Resend, an e-mail service that forwards it to my mailbox.
Legal basis: answering your question, as a step before a possible agreement, and my legitimate interest in replying to you. Retention: as long as the conversation runs, and at most twelve months after that, so I have context if you come back later. Ask me to delete it and it happens straight away.
If you e-mail me directly at hallo@nxthome.online, I handle that mail the same way: only to answer your question, with the same retention.
Visitor statistics
There is no visitor counter on this site. I do not know how many people come here, and I keep no record of it. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask consent for.
Cookies and your browser
This site sets no cookies. Your browser does remember two small things, so the opening animation does not replay on every visit: in local storage, the time you last saw it (nxt.boot.t; within a day it does not play again), and a flag for this visit (nxt.boot) that disappears when you close the tab. None of it says who you are, and it is never sent to me.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical log data — including your IP address — to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse. Those logs are managed by Cloudflare and are not used by me.
What does not happen
- No tracking cookies and no advertising pixels.
- No selling or passing on of your data for marketing.
- No newsletter you are signed up for without asking.
- No automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict the processing, to object to it, and to receive your data in a portable form. One e-mail to hallo@nxthome.online is enough; I answer within thirty days.
If you are not happy with how I handle that, you can lodge a complaint with the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, the Belgian data protection authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel.
Changes
If anything changes about the services I use, I update this page and change the date at the top.
